About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a vibrant school in Preston. This is a maternity cover position, working three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) in a job share arrangement. You will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach A Level Maths if skilled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Collaborate with the job share partner to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and resources.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with A Level experience being advantageous.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
