Spencer Clarke Group is delighted to be recruiting for a part-time Maths teaching position at a well-regarded secondary school in Preston. This role is a maternity cover, offering an excellent opportunity to inspire and support students in their mathematical journey.

The Role:
  • Teach Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their full potential.

  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parents' evenings as required.

About You:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

  • Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Commitment to maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
