Spencer Clarke Group is delighted to be recruiting for a part-time Maths teaching position at a well-regarded secondary school in Preston. This role is a maternity cover, offering an excellent opportunity to inspire and support students in their mathematical journey.
The Role:-
Teach Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their full potential.

Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parents' evenings as required.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
