Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with several well-established secondary schools in the Preston area to recruit full-time Cover Supervisors. This role is perfect for individuals with classroom experience, whether you have already led classes or are a teaching assistant looking to progress into leading lessons.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students' education during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes across a range of subjects.
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Providing support and guidance to students to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to contribute to the schools' success.
What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience working in a classroom setting (essential).
  • Confidence in managing groups of students independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
