HLTA - Preston:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Level 4 qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a school near to Preston. This is a full time position to start after the half-term.
The successful candidate will have previous experience and an excellent understanding of both core and foundation subjects.
The Role:
- Covering lessons while the teacher is on PPA
- Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher regarding progress of the pupils
- Building rapport with staff, students and parents
Position Details:
- Location: Preston
- Position: HLTA
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £115 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 24/02/2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience covering lessons
- Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
