HLTA - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely school near Preston. This will be covering lessons for KS2 students while their teachers are on PPA. For this role, you will need excellent curriculum knowledge of both core and foundation subjects.

  • End date: Ongoing

Role Responsibilities:

  • Covering both core and foundation subjects while teachers are on PPA
  • Building rapport with parents and other staff members
  • Communicating with staff members to track progress

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Team Teach qualification would be highly desired
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification would be highly desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
