Senior Engineer - upto 47,000 pa - Preston
My client are a large, global business with a growing Through Life Support Team, who are responsible for supporting future combat air systems, managing the engineering lifecycle, and managing deliverables, ensuring key milestones are hit, Specific to FCAS and GCAP platforms.
They have a requirement for an addition team member with broad technical management and/or engineering integration experience and an appetite to apply their core knowledge to the through-life support domain whilst working in a truly multi-disciplined environment.
The successful candidate will support Technical Reviews, in addition to writing/updating engineering management plans, whilst supporting TLS sub-teams to facilitate compliant deliverables and artefacts in line with the engineering lifecycle applied to the programme requirements.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent professional experience) in relevant STEM subject
- Knowledge and understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle e.g. Requirements Engineering, Solution Design, Verification & Validation, Test & Qualification.
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering lifecycle frameworks relevant to the development and support of military air platforms
- Knowledge and understanding of key policies and processes for design reviews, technical reviews and/or engineering maturity gate reviews.
- Knowledge and understanding of the approaches to managing technical risks and opportunities on a major engineering programme
As a Senior Engineer working for this company you will be earning a basic salary of up to 47,000 and will be entitled to a fantastic range of company benefits.
