PART-TIME CHARITY SHOP ASSISTANT:

 (Penwortham, Preston)

             Salary £11.44 per hour

Integrate supports Preston people with learning disabilities in the community; We are looking for a part time shop assistant, to assist the manager and our dedicated team in our vibrant charity emporium in the Penwortham area.

 Days of working are: - 22.5 hrs per week alternate Saturdays, flexibility to help cover when required is desired.

You will be committed to our values, be commercially aware with an understanding of retail fashion and the ability to recognise the importance of attractive presentation and stock potential. It is a customer facing role so an outgoing, lively and sociable personality will help engage our customer base. Working closely with the Manager and deputising when necessary. It is a fast-moving sales environment so you will be able to self-motivate, ideally having been employed in a charity shop previously. The ability to prioritise and good numerical skills are a must. Experience of selling online is desirable, alongside familiarity with posting on social media.

Duties will include opening and securing the premises, sorting through donations, steaming clothes, pricing articles for sale and moving substantial amount of stock so applicants need to be able to undertake significant manual handling duties. We also support people with a learning disability to contribute to the shop and you will play a role in making this a positive experience for them.
