Deputy Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong leadership skills, and be able to effectively communicate with both children and staff.
Duties as Deputy Manager:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the nursery
- Supervise nursery staff and provide guidance as needed
- Develop and implement educational programs for children
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the nursery
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress
- Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements or the Deputy Manager role:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Qualifications in Early Childhood Education are desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks efficiently
