WORKSHOP CONTROLLER - PRESTON AREA

Our client, one of the top 3 motor trade employers in the UK, is on the hunt for an ambitious and talented Workshop Controller to join their fantastic team in their state of the art facility. It is the perfect opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to advance their career in a premium brand environment.

Salary: £32,000 Basic - £40,000+ OTE

Working hours/days: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the day to day running of the workshop, ensuring the service and repair technicians achieve their daily targets. Assisting the Service Manager in ensuring the department provides the best possible service to the customers and achieves agreed profits and retention levels. As part of your daily role you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing relevant quality checks.

The ideal candidate for this role will have motor industry experience managing a team within a busy Service/Workshop environment. You will have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) as well as a solid understanding of COSHH legislation, trade practices, and consumer legislation.

Having awareness of quality control and inspection requirements of a workshop is a must.
