Family Liaison Support Officer - Preston Area

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Liaison Support Officer in the Preston area. The successful candidate will provide emotional and academic support to pupils, working closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure the well-being and academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individual learning plans
  • Support pupils during unstructured times and provide positive behavior management
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external agencies
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to parents and staff
  • Deliver training and support to staff on school policies

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
  • Knowledge of educational frameworks and BESD (Behavioral, Emotional, and Social Development)
