Recovery Outreach WorkerService Care Solutions are supporting a non-profit provider and they are currently recruiting for a Recovery Outreach Worker. As a Recovery Outreach Worker you will play a crucial role by supporting individuals that are suffering with Drug & Alcohol addiction. The Ideal candidate needs to be experienced within the field but also someone who is highly driven and can identify positivity within a service user and have the ability to develop potential within.Who We're Looking ForTo thrive in this role, you'll bring:
  • Experience walking alongside people who've been excluded from or harmed by mainstream services, particularly those experiencing drug & alcohol issues and homelessness.
  • Some understanding of healing, recovery journeys being personal.
  • The ability to document our work thoughtfully, capturing important details while honouring people's stories in case notes.
  • Confidence to speak up - both advocating for community members and contributing your voice within our team.
  • Willingness to share your insights and learning, helping our whole team grow.
  • Understanding of African Caribbean, global majority, dual heritage experiences from the inside - through lived experience or deep community connection.
