Residential Support Worker

Full time, 30 working hours per shift rotation (2 on 4 off) and 18 sleeping hours

Our client offers a safe and caring space for children in a residential home in Preston, where they can feel supported and reach their full potential.

We are searching for Residential Support Workers who share our belief children should be empowered and supported to live their best life and enjoy new and varied experiences. Previous experience with childrens homes and a full UK drivers license is required for this role.

Salary & Benefits:


  • £25,665.25 for fully qualified staff range depending upon experience/qualifications

Job Role:

  • To understand and deliver the young persons care plan every day.
  • To meet all the basic physical needs of the young person every day.
  • Keep up to date accurate records for the young people in line with systems of the home.
  • To carry out checks and maintain all relevant records relating to Health & Safety as directed by line manager.

Successful Applicant:

  • Must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving license (a company car will be provided during work hours)
  • Must possess at least 1 year of experience in residential support work
  • Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends)
