Are you an experienced Residential Support Worker with a passion for supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)? Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join their 2-bed EBD service in Preston.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with EBD, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of consistent, person-centred care.
  • Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
  • Create a nurturing and supportive environment, promoting positive outcomes for the young people.
  • Liaise with external agencies, including social workers and education providers, to ensure the best outcomes for the children.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting.
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience working with children with EBD is essential.
  • Full UK driving licence.
