Embrace Care is excited to announce the opening of a new, purpose-built home designed specifically to support up to three children with autism and learning difficulties. As we expand our services, we are looking for a Team Leader to join our team and play a key role in the success of this ground breaking project.
In this vital role, you'll be responsible for leading a team of dedicated Support Workers, ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered while supporting the opening of the new home. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Support Workers, providing guidance, training, and support to deliver person-centered care
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children with autism, ADHD, PTSD, and learning or mental disabilities
- Work closely with children, their families, and multi-disciplinary teams to implement care plans and positive behaviour strategies
- Support the opening and ongoing development of the new home, ensuring it meets the childs needs and our high standards of care
- Oversee the daily operations, ensuring staff adhere to safeguarding procedures and provide excellent care
- Act as a role model for the team, promoting compassion, resilience, and effective communication
What You Need:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within social care or a similar setting (desirable)
- Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning difficulties, or mental health challenges
- A Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare or a related field (or willingness to work towards it with our support)
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to making a real difference in peoples lives
