MIDAS SOFTWARE ENGINEER – CONTRACT 12 MONTHS – WARTON Nr Preston
Hybrid Working 2/3 days on site per week.
Supporting the design & development of the MIDAS Mission Management system for the next generation of military platforms across Air, Land and Sea. This will entail working within an Agile framework and utilising model-based system engineering techniques to create the MIDAS product.
As a MIDAS Software Engineer, you will be responsible to the MIDAS Software Group Lead to support the development of Software Design, Code and Test required to support
- Support the engineering planning activities
- Liaise with MIDAS Systems & Test Engineers
- Software Design
- Software Code (C++/Misra C++)
- Software Test
- Safety & Security
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU / SKILLS & PROVEN ABILITY
- Ability with integration within a delivery programme for Systems and Software.
- Knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle and associated governance.
- Knowledge or awareness of Model Based Engineering tools (Cameo).
- Requirements Management (DOORS)
- System Definition (SysML / CAMEO)
- Data Modelling
- System/Software (SysML / UML)
- Software Coding (C++/Misra C++)
- Auto Code Generation
DESIRABLES
- Awareness of or have used Agile methodology supported by the Atlassian toolset would be advantageous.
- History in mission management and autonomy fields is advantageous.
