We are on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to become a part of our vibrant educational team. This role is an excellent fit for individuals who are passionate about contributing to the educational journey of students and aiding them in reaching their highest potential. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience from an educational environment and possess the qualifications necessary to facilitate learning for a diverse range of students.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Offer personalised support to individual pupils or small groups to enhance their educational and personal development.
  • Aid in the creation and organisation of educational materials and classroom settings.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to track student progress and contribute to individualised learning strategies.
  • Promote student autonomy, self-assurance, and active participation within the learning environment.
  • Provide specialised support for students with additional educational needs, ensuring equitable learning opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison among students, educators, and parents as needed.
  • Uphold the school’s policies, including those related to safeguarding and confidentiality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an educational setting.
  • Appropriate educational or related qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A patient and empathetic approach with a positive outlook on student growth.
  • Teamwork skills, with the ability to work in harmony with teachers and school staff.
