Learning Support Assistant - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEN learning support assistant to work in a lovely primary school in Preston. You will be supporting KS1 pupils. This role will involve supporting pupils with challenging behaviour on a 1-1 basis and managing this in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.

As a learning support assistant you will need to be able to communicate effectively with class teachers to implement strategies and learning activities.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting KS1 pupils is desirable
  • Team Teach qualification - highly desirable
