LSA - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a learning support assistant to support KS1 pupils at a lovely school near to Preston. You will be required to support pupils in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.

The Role:

  • Liaising with the SENDCO and other members of staff to monitor progress
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Building rapport with students, staff and parents

Position Details:

  • Hours: 9am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting KS1 pupils in a school setting
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • A good knowledge of the general curriculum for KS1

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
