About the school:

Independent specialist primary day school focused on SEMH, ASD and other associated needs including GDD, MLD, SLD. Also, support children with serious visual impairment and hearing impairment. The school's Teaching Assistants provide transport in order to support local authorities across the North West. Situated in picturesque countryside.

What We're Looking For:* A compassionate, reliable, and adaptable individual who has experience or an interest in working with children with special educational needs - focused on SEMH, ASD and other associated needs including GDD, MLD, SLD. * Someone with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents.* An understanding of how to provide personalised support to meet individual learning needs.* A SEN Teaching Assistant with a driving Licence - this is an essential requirement.

Key Responsibilities:* Supporting students with a SEMH and ASD on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.* Assisting in classroom activities and adapting resources to suit individual needs.* Helping to create and implement individual education plans (IEPs/EHCPs).* Working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student.* Transport the children from home to school in order to provide in depth handovers with parents.How to Apply:If you're ready to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!
