Are you an Early Years Teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Ribble Education is working with a wonderful primary school in Preston that is looking for a dedicated teacher to join their team and lead a small, nurturing class of 5 pupils with SEND. This role is set to start ASAP and will run until the summer term, with the possibility of extension or a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small class of 5 children with SEND, providing tailored and high-quality Early Years education - for more details we can discuss
- Develop and implement individual learning plans to meet the diverse needs of the children in your class
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all pupils
- Support the emotional, social, and academic development of each child, providing one-to-one support where necessary
- Work closely with the school’s SENDCo and other professionals to ensure the children receive the best possible support
- Regularly assess the progress of each child and communicate effectively with parents and carers about their child’s development
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Early Years Teacher (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in SEND
- Experience teaching children with SEND, ideally within an Early Years setting
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible individual who can tailor teaching to meet individual needs
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how to apply it to children with additional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- A proactive and resilient approach to teaching in a small, specialist setting
