SEN Teacher - Preston:

Prospero teaching are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in SEN to join one of our schools in Preston. You will be teaching and supporting young people with SEMH needs, and will need to be resilient.

The Role:

  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of the individuals
  • Working collaboratively with other staff and external agencies

Position Details:

  • Position: SEN Teacher
  • Location: Preston
  • Hours: 0830 - 1530 (Mon-Fri)
  • Type of Work: Temporary / Temp to Perm
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £162 - Paid to Scale
  • Start date: 03/02/2024 / ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience teaching students with additional needs, preferably in a specialist setting
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Committed to promoting the setting ethos of inclusion
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
