SEN Teacher - Preston:

Prospero teaching are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in SEN to join a school near to Preston. This is a full time position to start in February.

You will be responsible for provided an excellent level of teaching for primary aged pupils with complex needs.

The Role:

  • Delivering and developing engaging lessons
  • Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils
  • Working collaboratively with other staff and external agencies

Position Details:

  • Location: Preston
  • Position: SEN Teacher
  • Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £150 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Feb 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting SEN within a specialist setting
  • Team Teach training would be highly desired
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
