SEND Teacher (Maternity Cover) - Key Stage 4 (Higher Ability) - Preston

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher for a maternity cover position at a well-regarded secondary special school in Preston. This role involves working with higher ability Key Stage 4 students, delivering a tailored curriculum that fosters both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of higher ability KS4 students with SEND.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure individual learning objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including support staff, therapists, and parents, to create a supportive learning environment.
