Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS SEND Teacher to join a special needs school in Preston. This position is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored EYFS curriculum plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the emotional and academic growth of students.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide holistic support to students.
  • Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to ensure each child's development.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support the children's learning journey.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting children with SEND.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
