Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping well known and very established company recruit a Site Procurement Manager for their manufacturing site. The role comes with a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits. Due to the nature of the role, this is an on site position.

As a UK Site Procurement Manager, you will manage purchasing strategy for Direct and Indirect spending and ensure optimal supplier performance and price management.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Create and implement a strategy to ensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk and deliver cost savings
  • Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and manage the development of contracts, contractual relationships, and contract management to continuously improve the supply base's delivery of goods and services
  • Manage the team to deliver the appropriate support to the business
  • Work alongside the UK and group senior management team to contribute to overall business objectives.

  • Demonstrable experience in managing supplier contracts and purchasing strategies and processes
  • The ability to work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy
  • To be able to take ownership of the purchasing policy, guidelines and any associated documents
  • Procurement experience gained from a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Ideally MCIPS or high level CIPS qualification
