Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel projects, including material, labour, and subcontractor costs.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop accurate bids.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and the sales team to ensure competitive and profitable proposals.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Track project costs and maintain clear records of all estimates and revisions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations throughout the estimation process.
About You:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the structural steel industry.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
