Responsibilities of a Coppersmith are:
- Fabricate and repair stills and other distillery equipment, ensuring that each piece meets the highest standards of quality.
- Mark out, cut, roll, fold, and manipulate sheet metal and plates to form structures as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate press brakes, sheet metal and plate bending rolls, and other workshop machinery proficiently.
- Perform precise drilling operations and assemble components with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to team efforts in order to complete projects in a timely manner.
Coppersmith's are required to have the following:
- 3 Scottish National 4 Qualifications or equivalent, including Math and English.
- Demonstrated experience and competency in sheet metal work fabrication.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Clean UK driving license.
