JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Prestwick, looking to recruit a new Engineering Training Administrator to join their team.

This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Prestwick.
Working Monday - Thursday (08:30 - 17:00) and Friday (08:30 - 14:30).

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to assist the training department in the day-to-day running, including organising and related administration of 145 training.


Other Duties Involve

  • Enrolling and tracking of mandatory 145 training across the Storm Aviation network.
  • Assisting in the organisation and preparation of training, including but not limited to booking candidates, printing of course materials, booking rooms and resources.
  • Communicating with training candidates, managers and instructional colleagues to ensure efficient operations
  • Collating relevant certificates and licences from new starters and course candidates.
  • Updating and general housekeeping of the company's Learning Management System as well as report generation and KPI reporting.
  • Involvement in the organisation and participation in local STEM activity including but not limited to organising work experience and school visits.
  • New starter administration including but not limited to completing vetting, enrolling in required training, uniform ordering and setting up on relevant systems.
  • Arranging job related training such as airside driving, boom etc. and any relevant medicals.
  • Booking of travel and accommodation where required for instructors and colleagues.


In order to be successful in this role the Engineering Training Administrator will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in an administrative role (preferably in an aviation or technical training environment).
  • Experience with training management systems and record- keeping is advantageous.
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
