Job Title: Project Engineer - Systems Team Leader 

As a Project Engineer - Systems Team Leader  You’ll Be Doing:
  • Overseeing the production of Flight Systems engineering data to meet project requirements, ensuring alignment with agreed standards and procedures while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule adherence.
  • Collaborating with various engineering and project teams to develop effective engineering solutions.
  • Planning, executing, and guiding engineering tasks based on the project lifecycle phase, which may include requirements development, system and equipment design, modelling, system integration, qualification, certification, and testing.
  • Reviewing and approving specifications, reports, and proposals to ensure technical accuracy and that task objectives are met.
  • Driving the development of new systems by implementing best practice systems lifecycle processes.
  • Providing overall team leadership, including task management and prioritization, performance management, staff development, cost control, and ensuring technical quality.
Your Skills and Experiences:

Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Maths, or Science).
  • Strong knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and the ability to apply effective systems engineering practices.
  • Extensive experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fluid Systems Engineering, ideally within an aerospace application.
  • Proven ability to apply prior experience to guide, support, and lead others.
  • Ability to research system design data and solve complex engineering problems.
