- Stock and Procurement Management:
- Ensure that essential components, spare parts, and tools are always available.
- Work with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery terms.
- Accurately manage inventory levels and update systems.
- Customer Support and Sales:
- Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and provide quotations.
- Build strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Address stock availability, pricing, and delivery questions.
- Stores and Operational Support:
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the store, including picking, packing, and goods-in.
- Ensure materials and tools are available to support engineering teams.
- Step in to assist the Insite Manager as needed.
- Experience:
- A solid background in manufacturing or engineering, ideally in heavy industry.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or industrial sales.
- Skills:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a bonus.
- Additional Requirements:
- A valid driving licence is essential.
