Principle Systems EngineerLocation: Prestwick 

As a Principle Systems Engineer You’ll Be Doing:
  • Producing and reviewing Flight Systems engineering data to meet project requirements, ensuring adherence to agreed standards and procedures while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Collaborating with other engineering and project teams to develop effective engineering solutions.
  • Planning, executing, and overseeing engineering tasks based on the project lifecycle phase, which may include requirements development, system and equipment design, modelling, system integration, qualification, certification, and testing.
  • Preparing and reviewing specifications, reports, and proposals to ensure technical accuracy and fulfillment of task objectives.
  • Driving the development of new systems by applying best practice systems lifecycle processes.
  • Working closely with customers to support existing systems and resolve any issues.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to other team members
Your Skills and Experiences:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Maths, or Science).
  • In-depth understanding of the system engineering lifecycle and the ability to apply strong systems engineering practices.
  • Experience in Mechanical, Propulsion, Electrical, Avionics, or Fluid Systems Engineering, ideally in aerospace, naval, defence, or automotive industries.
  • Strong ability to research system design data and apply it to complex problems.
