Full time 42.5 Hour Week (Monday – Friday 8am-5pm)

Moving forward, iLECSYS are looking to expand their control panel business, and rail related Class II switchgear and are therefore seeking to recruit an additional Electrical Design Engineer. You will be involved with developing and enhancing new and existing circuit solutions in line with company requirements and customer demands. Please note this role is office based. So, the successful candidate will need to commute to Princes Risborough or happy to relocate to the area
The Role - Develop and enhance new and current circuit solutions
- Utilising AutoCAD Electrical to produce various electrical layouts and schematics.
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM's).
- Prepare specifications and test requirements documentation
- Test, develop and de-bug designs
- Review designs development for conformance with applicable standards
- Support electrical panel production
- Attend and contribute to design reviews.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A degree or HNC/HND in electrical engineering or equivalent is preferable.
- Previous experience in electrical engineering calculations for sizing cables and electrical equipment
- Â Previous experience designing electrical control panels
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a busy design team
- Working knowledge of simple PLC systems and programming software not essential but desirable
