Our client designs and manufacture beds and mattresses, they are currently looking to grow their team, and offer great progression opportunities within the business. They are looking for a Junior Maintenance Engineer that will work on all the machinery on site, and help with ensuring standards are kept high.
Role & Responsibilities:
- This is a junior level position - They will have on the job training on all the machines and company processes
- Initially spend the first few weeks shadowing the Lead Maintenance Engineer
- Working on Sewing Machines, Tufting Machines, and Border Machines (120 machines on site in total)
- PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Mostly mechanical work- pneumatics, Inverters, Motors, DC drives
- Help track spare part inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Assist with any general building or facilities tasks
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Interest in Mechanics and Engineering
- Maybe someone coming out of an apprenticeship or with some work experience
- Ambitious - Drive to learn and progress
- Good communicator in English
