Maintenance Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Deeside, Flintshire, CH5 2UA.
Salary: Competitive.
Contract: Full time, permanent. The role operates on a 5-day working week- working hours can be subject to change, dependent on business requirements.

Maintenance Manager – About the role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to join our team at Saica as a Maintenance Manager.

The role of Maintenance Manager is responsible for the safety and effective maintenance of the company’s grounds, buildings, and all equipment, including planned and preventative maintenance schedules, breakdown repairs to minimize downtime and help maximize productivity.

You will also be responsible for leading and managing a small team of Maintenance Engineers, overseeing their day-to-day responsibilities and ongoing development.

What we need from you:

•  Engineering Degree / Diploma (e.g. mechanical, electrical) or substantial practical experience in engineering with a background in high-speed production
•  Experience in print or packaging manufacturing desirable but not essential
•  Experience of managing/supervising others
•  Experience of TPM methodologies
•  Considerable knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a production setting
•  Self-Management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.
•  IT literate – experience of computer-based production technology and experience with MS Office, in particular Word, Excel & Outlook
