Role
Lead the financial operations, ensuring precision in reporting, strategic planning and financial processes / controls across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions – team of c12
- Responsible for cash flow forecasting to ensure effective cash utilisation.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to support the company's rapid growth and integration of new acquisitions.
- Finance Lead for a new expense system implementation in addition to other strategic projects.
- Support with the development of the ESG agenda.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and technologies
- Ownership of strategic projects
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience, this role is all about high levels of drive, growth mindset and personality.
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally within a shared services environment but not essential. You must be motivated by personal progression with the desire to progress to FD / CFO.
- Strong understanding of financial management, including cash flow forecasting, debt management, and payroll.
- Strong commercial acumen and inquisitiveness with the desire to be operating in a high-growth environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
