Role

Lead the financial operations, ensuring precision in reporting, strategic planning and financial processes / controls across the Group. 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions – team of c12
  • Responsible for cash flow forecasting to ensure effective cash utilisation.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to support the company's rapid growth and integration of new acquisitions.
  • Finance Lead for a new expense system implementation in addition to other strategic projects.
  • Support with the development of the ESG agenda.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and technologies
  • Ownership of strategic projects

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience, this role is all about high levels of drive, growth mindset and personality.
  • Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally within a shared services environment but not essential.  You must be motivated by personal progression with the desire to progress to FD / CFO.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including cash flow forecasting, debt management, and payroll.
  • Strong commercial acumen and inquisitiveness with the desire to be operating in a high-growth environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
