The Financial Controller role is an integral part of the senior management team within this manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting and compliance, as well as maintaining and developing cross-business relationships through commercial discussions.

Description
- Oversee all financial operations
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Produce the management accounts and present these to the MD and owners (when necessary)
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Add value through commercial relationships across the wider business
- Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation.
- Work closely with warehouse management, sales, marketing, supply chain and HR.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA
- Familiarity with financial software - EXCEL and comfortable with analysing high volumes of data
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Sharp time management skills.
- Strong ethics, with a high level of honesty and integrity.
- A strong team player who is comfortable with being an integral part of senior management
Job Offer
