We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team, located in the LS28 area. As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of exceptional care and education for children under your supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a designated room within the childcare center, overseeing the daily operations and activities.
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities, tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
  • Supervise and support a team of educators and assistants, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
  • Establish positive and collaborative relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and development.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a childcare setting, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Sound knowledge of child development theories, early years curriculum frameworks, and best practices in childcare.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a genuine passion for working with children.
