Teaching Assistant - Leeds Secondary

We’re looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who can provide valuable support to both students and teachers, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting Students
- Assist with students’ learning by providing tailored support in the classroom.
- Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce lesson content.
- Encourage and motivate students, acting as a positive role model.
- Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Supporting Teachers
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
- Support the teacher in managing behaviour and engagement in lessons.
- Provide feedback on students’ progress and any areas where they may need extra help.
- Help set up and maintain a well-organised classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for education and supporting young people.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Relevant qualifications at A-level or equivalent (NQF Level 3) are desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting.
- Enthusiasm, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
