Are you a creative and passionate Garden Designer looking to develop your career? FirstLight Landscaping Design & Build is seeking an enthusiastic designer to join our team, working on high-quality private residential garden projects across Yorkshire.

About the Role

Youll be involved in the design and development of beautiful residential gardens, assisting with projects from concept to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with some experience in garden or landscape design who is looking to build their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing high-quality private garden projects
  • Produce drawings and visualisations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Work collaboratively with the design and build teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Conduct site visits and surveys
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and contractors
  • Support the development of presentations and project proposals

Who Were Looking For

  • A degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Garden Design, or a related field
  • Some experience working in a landscape or garden design studio
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign
  • A good knowledge of plants and planting design
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to project deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • A passion for design and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport.
