Thrive Personnel are currently recruiting an experienced Wood Machinist to join our client on their late shift on a temp to perm basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate CNC wood machining equipment to cut, shape, and finish wood products according to specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to determine machining requirements.

- Set up and calibrate CNC machines, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

- Monitor the machining process and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.

- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met efficiently and safely.

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC machining is a plus.

- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, preferably in woodworking.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
