We are seeking a bilingual (German/English) Temporary Finance Accountant to join our client's finance team. This long-term temporary assignment (minimum 3 months) will support the accounting, transactional processing, and financial reporting needs for their German entity. The ideal candidate will have strong finance experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while liaising with multiple departments

Accounts Management:
- Independently process and maintain accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
- Coordinate with management and corporate teams to ensure seamless financial operations.

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and corresponding reports.

Invoice Processing:
- Check, process, and control transactions for supplier invoice payments, including reconciliation, scanning, and secure storage.

Expense Management:
- Ensure that expense reports and advances are processed in accordance with company policy.

Intercompany Reconciliation:
- Reconcile intercompany accounts monthly, ensuring proper documentation and support.

Variance Analysis:
- Analyze general ledger accounts and monitor expense variances on a monthly basis.

Liaison with Purchasing:
- Work closely with the Purchasing department to address invoice discrepancies and supplier queries, ensuring all variances are approved and accurately accounted for.
Essential Requirements:

Language Skills:
- Must be fluent in both German and English.

Finance Experience:
- Proven experience in finance/accounting, particularly with accounts receivable, payable, and fixed asset management.
- Strong background in preparing financial statements and reports.

Analytical & Communication Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise across multiple departments.

Additional Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in or with a German entity is highly advantageous.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently are essential.
