Our client is looking to bring in a talented Managing Director to join their Sussex based business.
The Managing Director is a strategic leader responsible for driving organisational performance, fostering team growth, managing finances, and building client relationships. This role ensures operational excellence, quality standards, and alignment with long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Lead people strategy, including recruitment, team development, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Build and maintain key client relationships while ensuring service excellence.
- Drive strategic planning, business growth, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Manage financial controls, payroll, and reporting to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Provide leadership to direct reports and collaborate with the executive team on organisational goals.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, such as Managing Director or Operations Director.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in people management and team development.
- Extensive experience in building and managing client relationships.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Knowledge of operational processes and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory compliance, and market trends.
