Pavilion Insurance Recruitment are delighted to be offering this new opportunity of Broking Leader to the Sussex region. Working for a leading UK Insurance Brokerage with multiple office presences your objective will be to path the way alongside senior management in driving forward an already successful Broking Executive team.

This is an exciting transitional period for our client due to merger/acquisition activity and they are looking for an individual who can make an impact in implementing regional sales and retention strategies too.

Day to day you will oversee a team of 3 Executives whilst managing your own book of business comprising of UK SME and Mid-Market clients. You will lead the client piece whilst having full broking support from Account Handlers. The vacancy is split into 60% management / 40% broking.

Main objectives include:

  • Creation of individual development plans
  • Providing training where necessary
  • Constantly reviewing the market and industry trends
  • Lead and support the team on broking challenges as well as on risk management advice
  • Encourage and lead on a cross sell/up sell, focused appetite approach to the risks being received
