Role Overview:
The company is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join their team, responsible for electrical design and implementation across a portfolio of semiconductor manufacturing products. This role involves creating electrical schematics, managing bills of materials, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the build and test cycles.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer:
- Design and produce electrical schematics using Electrical CAD (solidworks, Autocad etc).
- Develop and manage bills of materials for projects.
- Provide support during manufacturing, including troubleshooting and assisting customers and site engineers.
- Participate in planning meetings and collaborate with PLC programming teams.
- Maintain technical construction files for each project.
Requirements of the Electrical Design Engineer:

Essential:
- HNC in an electrical discipline or similar qualification.
- Experience in electrical CAD design, SolidWorks Electrical desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, and organisational skills.
- Ability to meet tight schedules and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable:
- Familiarity with Mitsubishi PLCs.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, electrical circuits, safety interlocks, and safety circuits.
- Experience with motion systems, drives, and programming skills.
