An established and growing global multinational semiconductor manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to become involved in all aspects of the business involved in bringing concepts to realisation.

The focus of work will encompass final test and commissioning of new systems, upgrades, regular servicing and fault fixing of existing equipment both in-house and as necessary travelling to customer sites. Duties will include final test procedures and debugging of systems in the factory before they are shipped followed by corrective, preventative and installation activities of shipped systems at Customer locations worldwide. The FSE will also contribute technical knowledge sharing with field and remote colleagues, will determine most effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime. They will maintain high levels of administration compliance to meet regulatory requirements.

Candidates must possess knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembles and machine control systems both PLC and PC, be experienced with PCB workings and fault finding with exposure to semiconductor and related vacuum/chemical/gas handling and control system an advantage but not essential.
