  • PCB design for our products power supplies and control electronics.
  • Schematic entry from design engineering sketches.
  • Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies including piece part information.
  • Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials.
  • Maintaining PCB library.
  • Maintaining the DCC drawing system.
  • Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams and schedules.
  • Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems.
  • Keep informed and support IS09001 Quality and IS014001 Environmental requirements and improvement activities. Commit to achieving the Company business, Quality and Environmental objectives and policies.
  • The above responsibilities are not exhaustive and you may be required to fulfil other duties and responsibilities from time to time for which you are reasonably qualified.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline.
  • Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design with knowledge of analogue, digital and surface mount technologies.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor and AutoCAD are a distinct advantage).
