JOB – Junior ICA Engineer    LOCATION – West Sussex TERM - Permanent SALARY – circa £28.000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experienceA West Sussex based Engineering company are currently looking for a Junior ICA Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. The ICA Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
  • HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Good Automation understanding – installations, modifications, commissioning etc.
  • Good understanding of control panels.
  • Ability to read & interpret electrical schematics.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
  • In-depth training including training of the company’s products & processes as well as support towards further qualifications & management courses if needed.
  • Exposure to all different electrical & mechanical equipment & machinery for the Water industry.
  • Being involved & gaining experience in various phases including installations, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance & calibration.
  • Installations, modifications & commissioning of Control Systems.
  • Instrumentation for process plants.
  • Providing support to other engineers when required.
  • Working on various projects to expand your skills.
  • Opportunity to participate in the sales/ technical sales side of things such as new contracts with customers, spare parts sales etc.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are being met at all time.
