I am looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work in the West Sussex area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.
Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: West Sussex
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £250 per day

Duties will include:
- Completing activities in line with the prepared maintenance tasks incl log of activities completed
- General site awareness inspection
- Monitoring plant operation
- Maintaining a site visit log
- Inspection of site log incl accessing SCADA / HMI to identify failures
- Maintenance tasks are related to wastewater treatment plants & may include
- Oil / grease lubrication
- Visual inspections
- Water / FE filter cleaning
- Equipment cleaning
- Checking for wear
Skills Required:
- Previous experience within water treatment (Non-Infrastructure)
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification required
- CSCS
Skills Desirable:
- Ambitious and dynamic personality
- MEICA/Civil works multi-disciplined interfacing
- Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
- Someone with a commitment to Right first time
