The Role

Due to ongoing success and growth within the events portfolio there is now an exciting opportunity for a Senior Events Manager to come on board and ensure the organisation and delivery of international event programmes  across the year. Working closely with multiple departments responsibilities are broad and include:

  • End to end event management of a range of conferences, award shows and ancillary events
  • Coordinate and attend international recce trips to secure event programmes and venues
  • Create event concepts and oversee the design and production of all AV, technical and production elements
  • Source & commission international creative agencies, production agencies & catering companies
  • Manage the tender process and negotiate the best possible rates with all suppliers
  • Create event timelines and hold regular update meetings
  • Take responsibility for delivering all aspects of the event in the lead up and on-site
  • Sponsor management and liaison
  • Venue sourcing and management
  • Budget management and onsite management

The Candidate

Candidates must have experience of managing a multitude of events end to end, ideally from within a conference / exhibition / awards organiser / event agency or similar environment. Any experience of working on complex multiday conferences / awards would be preferred however more important is having someone that understands how events work and someone with a proven experience of managing teams and suppliers onsite, someone with the confidence and adaptability to pick things up quickly and execute flawless delivery.  Candidates must be willing to travel independently, as this will be a requirement of the role.
