Financial Reporting Manager

I am recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager to join one of the most prestigious organisations in West Sussex. This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity requiring a January 2025 start date.

The role is hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 from home, however candidates must have flexibility around this depending on the business needs.

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be at the forefront of financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.* Ensure all financial reports comply with regulatory requirements.* Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.* Provide insightful financial analysis to support senior management decisions.* Develop and enhance financial reporting systems and internal controls.* Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.* Strong Business Partnering skills as well as internal and external stakeholder management is key.

Qualifications:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.* At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role.* In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.* Excellent leadership and team management abilities.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
